Every family over time has some of those special recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. With this in mind, we have accumulated a notebook of recipes that have been passed down from family and friends. Or found in old cookbooks. These recipes have been modified over the years. That is why we wanted to introduce our best recipes and share them with you.

I define comfort food as something either healthy or maybe not so healthy but makes you happy. After all, life is short and meant to be enjoyed. So, here are four of our special recipes we want to introduce to you that I think you will enjoy as much as we do.

Chili This is one of our Best Recipes: I never had a bowl of chili until I moved to Arizona in the ’70s. Either had my wife. When we were dating we went to a Chili cook-off where we could sample all the award-winning Chilis. As a result, following that evening we went on a quest to find the best recipe. So, here is ours. Chocolate Cake: Chocolate cake has always been a favorite dessert not only for me but for our whole family. As a result, my sister passed this recipe down to my wife. passed Such an easy recipe my wife never had to have the recipe written down. But, HERE IT IS, especially for you.

Deviled Eggs: Deviled eggs are probably the easiest recipe to make. You just boil the eggs and mix the yolks with some mayo or salad dressing. A little salt and pepper and you are good to go. Instead of this basic recipe, I spent years searching and experimenting to find that special flavor. Ultimately, I came up with two. Therefore, I always have some of these jewels in the fridge I can go back and forth between the two recipes. GO HERE and see what I mean

Salmon Ball: I just had to add this recipe to our lineup. Again, over the years I have modified the recipe to make it extra special. You will love to have this around for any holiday or just as a healthy snack. Go here to see what I mean.
